We are excited to share the series of events our schools have planned to commemorate Veterans Day.
Veterans Day Events at Monett Schools:
MES will host the annual Veterans Day Concert on Thursday, November 9, at 6:00 p.m. at the PAC (1 David Sippy Drive Monett). Students are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue on Thursday, November 9 and camo on Friday, November 10. Our MES students will present patriotic songs to commemorate our nation's heroes.
MMS will host the annual Veterans Day Assembly on Thursday, November 9, at 2:30 p.m. in the MMS gym. MMS will feature special guest speakers. If you are a veteran and would like to be added to the special guest list, please call the MMS office at 417-235-6228.
MHS will host the annual Veterans Day Assembly on Friday, November 10, at 1:00 p.m. in the MHS gym. MHS will feature special guest speakers.
SRTC will host the annual Veterans Day lunch on Friday, November 10, at 11:30 a.m. in the SRTC commons area. Students will have the opportunity to meet and thank veterans from our community.
We encourage you and your family to participate in these events not only to show support for our school's initiatives but more importantly, to honor and express gratitude to the brave individuals who have dedicated their lives to our nation's freedom and security. Let's come together as a community to show appreciation and teach our children the values of respect, honor, and gratitude.
