On Wednesday, March 8, GO CAPS Monett hosted a Lunch and Learn event at the Monett Museum Event Center. The event brought together area superintendents, principals, counselors, and strategic business partners.
The Lunch & Learn event provided a unique opportunity for education and business leaders to come together and discuss topics related to workforce development, industry trends, durable skills in education, and the importance of profession-based learning. The goal was to facilitate intentional conversations between the groups and learn from one another.
Attendees engaged in lively discussions and gained valuable insights. They explored ways to work together more effectively to ensure that students are prepared for the workforce and that local businesses have access to the skilled workers they need to succeed.
GO CAPS is a program that allows high school students to explore different career paths and gain hands-on experience in one of the five strands, STEM & Aviation, Medicine & Healthcare, Agri-Business Food Systems, Global Business Entrepreneurship, and Teacher Education.
