The Monett R-1 School District announced the appointment of Heather Romine as the new Assistant Principal for the Monett Elementary School.
Mrs. Romine received her Bachelor's degree in Middle School Education from Missouri State University and her Masters in Elementary Administration through William Woods University.
Heather Romine has had an extensive 11-year teaching career, which has included various roles such as being a middle school science teacher, head volleyball coach, freshmen English teacher, new teacher mentor in the Purdy School District, and PK-12 grade instructional coach in Monett. Through her work, she has left a remarkable impression on both students and staff, creating a lasting impact.
"I am excited to be part of a team that loves kids and is willing to work together to make sure all students have growth and success," said Heather Romine. "Moving into administration gives me the opportunity to be with kids and staff daily, which is something I have been looking forward to for a long time."
Heather Romine will assume her duties on July 1, 2023, following the resignation of Miranda Hendrick.
