The Monett R-1 School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Heather Romine as the new Monett Elementary School principal, effective July 1, 2024.
Mrs. Romine holds a Bachelor's degree in Middle School Education from Missouri State University and a Masters in Elementary Administration from William Woods University. Her 14-year teaching career is marked by various roles, including middle school science teacher, head volleyball coach, freshman English teacher, mentor to new teachers in the Purdy School District, and PK-12 grade instructional coach in Monett. Throughout her career, she has made a significant and lasting impact on both students and staff with her work.
